Highlights from a Journey
Over the years, Paris Like a Parisian brought to life a wide variety of cultural, culinary and personal experiences in Paris, Normandy and other regions of France.
Private visits, encounters with artisans, discoveries of local heritage, themed journeys and projects for international groups: each experience reflected a personal vision of France, beyond conventional itineraries.
This selection offers a glimpse into the places, people and memorable moments that shaped that journey.
Parisian Neighbourhoods & Cultural Experiences
From Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Latin Quarter to Le Marais, Montmartre and the charming covered passages, my Parisian experiences explored the many faces of the capital.
They included Jewish heritage and cultural history, architecture from Haussmann to Art Nouveau and Art Deco, fashion and personal shopping, street art, hidden neighbourhoods and the city’s distinctive everyday life.
More unusual experiences ranged from evenings following in the footsteps of Édith Piaf in Belleville to private Seine cruises, themed discoveries and intimate encounters with Parisian culture.
Food Tours & French Gastronomy
Gastronomy was always at the heart of my work.
Far beyond traditional food tours, these experiences explored Parisian markets, artisan food shops, local producers, neighbourhood restaurants and the traditions of French cuisine.
Food became a wonderful way to discover the country’s culture, its people, regional specialities and the pleasure of sharing a table.
Groups, Events & Special Projects
Alongside private experiences, I designed and coordinated tailor-made programmes for international groups, travel professionals and special-interest visitors.
Projects included cultural and gastronomic journeys, thematic itineraries, agricultural and agritourism experiences in Normandy, and personalised encounters with local experts and artisans.
My work also extended internationally, including presentations in New York dedicated to French gastronomy and culinary culture.
Out of Paris Getaways
Beyond the capital, I designed and accompanied private journeys exploring the remarkable diversity of the French countryside, its history, landscapes and cultural heritage.
From magnificent châteaux and historic estates to picturesque villages, artists’ retreats, beautiful gardens and hidden rural treasures, these experiences offered a more intimate perspective on France.
Art, history, nature, gastronomy and encounters with local people came together to reveal a different side of French life, away from the crowds and conventional tourist routes.
Each journey was an invitation to slow down, explore and discover the authentic character of a region.
